About Nerima Symphony Orchestra

Nerima Symphony Orchestra was established in 1982. We started the activities under Nerima Cultural Promotion Association, and now it is an independent amateur orchestra. As a community based orchestra, we have various opportunities including regular concerts (twice a year), family concert, various music outreach programs incorporated with Nerima Cultural Promotion Association.

We have more than 90 players from teenager to 70s, including students, teachers, company employee/executive, public officials,  etc.. Approx. 70% of members are working/studying/living in Nerima city. We invited various guest conductors per each concert, instead of principal conductor.
